Louis Barabbas & The Bedlam Six are now on tour.
The full, regularly updated itinerary (with relevant venue links) can be found in the Gigs section of the Bedlam Six website. Louis will be posting daily blogs on the band’s Tumblr.
The tour includes shows in England, Scotland, Switzerland, Austria and Germany.
Continental dates will feature special guest Kirsty Almeida.

The Bedlam Six’s Christmas Single “Do-Wap In A Manger” will be released on Debt Records on 5 December. Available from iTunes, Amazon and all the usual places. It is also available as a pay-what-you-want download from the band’s shop (we recommend you go there!)

Next year’s European tour dates are now being confirmed (once again The Bedlam Six are working with the fantastic Dennis Adler from Burning Eagle Bookings).
The tour is to promote upcoming 12” LP “Rum Deal” and will cover Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands (TBC), the UK and Ireland.

Louis recently composed the soundtrack for Butlers Blacksticks Blue Cheese new television commercial.
The project saw him and The Bedlam Six reunited with the team behind the Tell-Tale Hound music video to create a truly unique advert.

Louis and the band have been recording their as-yet-untitled new record in a secret location on the South Coast of England.

Louis, Dan and Biff have been in the studio mixing the live album. There was very little to do as the live mix from the Dancehouse Theatre was so good. Still, it’s a little cleaner now, we’ve taken out a lot of the inter-song banter and removed the bits of stray fuzz.
The record will be on general release from 8 August, 2011.
Launch party at Manchester’s Ruby Lounge on the preceding Saturday, 6 August.
Louis will be at Un-Convention Preston at the “music industry surgery” with friend Liam Walsh. as well as speaking on the Live Music panel. Bedlam Six play the after-party.
